Hi there!

Welcome to my new blog, How To Festival! Consider this your one-stop-shop for all things festival and music related. More than just a place to share tons of my favorite show pictures and videos, I will talk about the different aspects of music festivals, including advice and recommendations, artist lineups, festival culture, logistics, gear and fashion, and really anything music related to help you make the most of your festival experience!

I consider myself an “almost expert”…. While there is always more to learn, I have already been to more than half a dozen festivals in recent years (some more than once), including Coachella, Camp Flog Gnaw, Lollapalooza, Life is Beautiful, Beyond Wonderland, and Hard Summer. And those are just the festivals! I have also been very fortunate to see many of my favorite artists in concert over the years, though music festivals are quickly becoming my favorite sort of live event!

To add to my knowledge and credits, I am a senior college student majoring in public relations and minoring in (get this) music industry! That’s right, I like this music stuff so much that I’m even setting my career path on it. I am an intern in the field already too, working at a PR firm as part of their festivals team.

As I build this page and put out content, I think you will quickly get a feel for who I am and the music world I reside in. I am knowledgeable about all sorts of music and artists, even if I have my favorite artists and genres (which will also become clear in time!). Regardless of what type of music and events you like, my promise is that you will find interesting and relevant content to elevate your festival experience, and hopefully over time, also a community that shares your love of music!
